I started off my career as an analyst in the economic polling unit. After a brief stint there, I worked on-site at an investment bank in their investment banking division. Then, I did technical analysis of stocks as a part of giving investment advice to clients in another company. After a long break of ten years, I joined tutor.com two years back, and I'm still with tutor.com.

I Love Tutoring Because

it gives me the chance to share whatever I know with students. I also learn a lot of things from them. It keeps me on my toes and helps me to keep abreast of the concepts in finance. It also pushes me to to think of effective ways of solving a question and the way to communicate with students so that they have a clear understanding of the concept when they leave the session. It feels great when the student has understood the concept at the end of a session.

I just wish that we can have someone in front of us teaching from the textbook with actual examples of what we are trying to solve, it is absolutely difficult to have a person answer questions from a book just by reading anything that they have no idea as to how to approach it in order to be able to solve it, I have been racking my brain enormously to try and handle this Statistics class, tough, very tough, but quitting is not my person.
