Career Experience

I have been teaching English all over the world for the past 12 years and am a counseling psychology graduate. I work as a part-time communication and personal and professional development lecturer at an engineering school and as a consultant for schools to bring out the best in their students. As a registered ASCHP counselor, I assist students in my practice to perform to their best ability by looking at their psychological approach to academics and fostering a growth mindset in their approach to "difficult" subjects. I have been blessed to work for tutor.com for many years and look forward to doing so for many years to come!

I Love Tutoring Because

I understand the importance of communication. During my psychology studies, I realized that most problems originated from our not understanding each other. This is when I decided that I would enjoy essay review work to improve students' writing skills. One of the ways to achieve this goal is to teach students how to write correctly, without ambiguity, and without misunderstandings. The correct tone, layout of papers, and focus on thesis statements are just as important as the actual quality and content of the writing.

I like this tutor's teaching style. This is a great service, I think that there should be a better or more updated way to import information however.
