I have taught English and history for Grades 7-11, been a professional writing tutor in college, and helped countless friends and family work through and clean up everything from novels to research papers to court statements. I am also an avid reader, history buff, and creative writer myself and have written so many ten page papers for university classes that they no longer scare me. (They still make me groan a lot!)

I Love Tutoring Because

I really enjoyed working with students who really lacked confidence and then watching them learn and grow and achieve results they hadn't expected. It takes a lot of time and patience to coach someone through a tough challenge sometimes, but it is one of the most rewarding experiences in the world!

I use this tutor access ALL THE TIME! I get help with my essays, math concepts, understanding moments in my history class and so much more. I have children and do a lot of my classes online. This helps me receive the help and guidance I need, when I need it. Professors do their best to respond in a timely manner, but sometimes I need help now, and it is hard to find time to go to the school library for help with 3 kiddos.

Rachel was so very helpful and patient with me during the entire session. She did additional research to answer a question for me, as a way to ensure that she was providing factual information. When I wasn't understanding something that she was trying to explain, she shifted her strategy and tried a different way of educating me. Rachel ended up answering all of my questions and gave me an explanation on the answers for further clarification. This was my first experience with using this service and I am so happy that I had such a positive experience.
