Description
Sustainability is embedded throughout our curriculum. In every single one of our courses, faculty teach how business tools can be used to build mission-driven businesses that are in business to solve social and environmental problems. We also have a practitioner faculty: all of our faculty are inventing sustainable business in their day jobs, and then bringing those insights to bear on their disciplines into the classroom during our weekend and evening sessions. In the question below, it asks about "Full Time Faculty" teaching courses in sustainability: given the one-weekend per month structure of our program, and the integration of sustainability throughout, we do not have full time faculty. That said, all of our faculty teach sustainability in all of their courses.

Research Opportunities in Sustainability

Description
All students pursue a 9-credit, independently mentored capstone in which, with faculty guidance, they pursue research related to projects of their own design, focused on sustainability entrepreneurship, intrapreneurship or consulting.

Bard's MBA is one of the few globally that fully integrates a focus on mission-driven business and sustainability into a core MBA. One hundred percent of our MBA courses are centered around using business tools to solve social and environmental problems.
School's environmental commitment 2:
Bard's unique year-long course in sustainability consulting, NYCLab, annually generates substantive recommendations to 7 to 10 corporations and/or non-profits on ways to better align business practices with environmental and social sustainability, in areas ranging across strategy, finance, marketing and operations.
School's environmental commitment 3:
