Overview

Since children never came with manuals, we’ve had to formulate some innovative ways to help families and child care professionals maintain their sanity. In lieu of manuals, we’ve got the Child Care major, a comprehensive two- or four-year program that will take you through almost every stage of a child’s development, from first baby steps to the first time they roll the car out of the garage at 3 a.m.

With more and more families in which both parents work, the need for well trained child care professionals is on the rise. If you want a career in the child care industry, you’re going to have to know your stuff, which means taking courses that cover child educational development, child abuse, and art for children.
